Carhartt's FR Active Jacket is a midweight FR jacket with a FR quilt lining and an HRC rating of 4. This flame resistant jacket made of an 8.5-ounce FR canvas with a 6.75-ounce FR quilt lining. A FR modacrylic batting is quilted to a twill-face cloth. There are plenty of well engineered pockets on this jacket! Two inside patch pockets with FR hook and loop closures to keep you stuff secure and two lower front pockets for hand warming and storage. Nomex® rib-knit cuffs and waistband work well to keep the cold out and the warmth in. Brass front zipper with Nomex® zipper tape has inside and outside protective flaps and hook-and-loop closure for electric arc protection. Also, the attached quilt-lined hood has an adjustable Nomex® draw cord. This FR jacket is NFPA 70E compliant; the FR fabric is from Mount Vernon Mills.
